Top Ten Things we'd like to tell you about St. Luke if you asked us!!!
- What makes a church "Presbyterian?"
When you have elected leaders who serve the church for an amount of time making decisions for the church, that's the Presbyterian style. At St. Luke, these people are called "elders" and "deacons" who serve for three year terms.
- Are you a "high-pressure" church?
No we're not high pressure towards our guests. We'd like to meet you sure, but if you'd like to come and go…feel free. Don't be mad though if we don't know your name the next time you come!
- Is there a dress code for your services?
We prefer that you do have clothes on, but come as you are.
- What about my children?
We have classes for them on Sunday morning between the two worship services. There's a mid-week program for the children too. Youth group (7th-12th Grade) meets on Sundays after church.

- Do you have a nursery for small kids?
Sure. We have a nursery for infants and small children up to four years old.
- What are your worship services like?
The 9:00 service is traditional and if you're familiar with the Reformed Tradition…that's what it's like. We have a call to worship, call to confession, assurance of pardon, we recite creeds, etc. The 11:15 service is contemporary with more "praise" music and we do not use creeds, etc.
- Who are the pastors?
We have two ordained ministers who serve the congregation. Michael and Amber Clark have been here since August of 2007. Michael is a native Tennessean and Amber hails from West Texas. They have one very hyper wire-haired terrier name Emma Jane. Staff Bios.
- What things do you offer for families and adults?
Worship, Sunday School Classes offered between the worship services, Sunday Night Bible Studies and Wednesday Night programs too. We have groups for all ages including young adults (the 18-35 age group!)
- What are the messages like?
We hope that you might download a sermon or two but if it helps you to understand who we are this might help. Recent sermon series have been on the miracle stories of Jesus, Job, based on the book An Altar in the World, Stewardship as "Paying it Forward", based on the book 11 Indispensable Relationships, just to give you an idea. - What are you all about?
We are a community of Christians attempting to be the hands and feet of Jesus in the world around us. We believe this takes many shapes but in the end, we are attempting to show the world an image of the kingdom of God. Period.
