LOGOS (for Children & Youth)
Logos is a comprehensive midweek program
for children and youth, grades one through twelve. It meets on Wednesdays
in the fall and spring from 5:15 to 8:00 p.m. Logos consists of four
parts: family time (with a full meal), recreation time, worship time, and
Bible time. The semesters culminate with an evening Christmas program
in the fall and "Logos Sunday," a primarily student-led worship service, in
the spring. Call Logos Director, Sherry Erickson at the church office,
817-293-3778 for more information.
In Focus is for Jr. and Sr. High youth (Grades 7-12) and all their friends. We meet weekly in the youth room, F-202, Sunday nights from 5-7 p.m. We play a variety of group involvement games, different every week. We eat yummy grub and sing songs, some wild, some with a purpose. Come join us to find peace with God, to be challenged to grow and to make a difference in the world.
Olive Boston leads this Bible study group that meets on Thursday morning at 10:00 a.m. in the Conference Room. A variety of Biblical studies are taught. Join us for coffee, snacks, and some great leassons from God's Word.
A group of men meet every Friday morning
from 6:30 to 7:30 a.m. in the Conference Room. This group studies a
book of the Bible verse-by-verse and discusses how it applies to their lives.
A Vacation Bible School is held each year during the summer for all the children in the church and the community. Different themes and concepts are employed each year and a Bible study has also been offered for adults. Vacation Bible School plans and details will be announced at appropriate times during the year.
